Western Equatoria Tax Collectors on Wednesday received five motorbikes ‘Rider Model’ from state finance ministry to facilitate work.
State Finance Minister John Russie said the intention is to mobilise more resources and ensure that all ten counties’ revenue offices operate, Anisa Radio reported.
He expressed full support to Tax Collectors, adding that they would soon purchase more motorbikes for all the ten counties.
The Finance Minister disclosed that the ministry would fuel the motorbikes.
Acting Director General James Richard Ramadan warned Tax Collectors against using the motor bikes for private businesses.
