African Medical and Research Foundation or AMREF doctors arrived in Wau Teaching Hospital of Western Bahr El Ghazal to conduct general operations in the state.
AMREF team leader Samuel Ajiek MAjok said they were in Wau to operate people with bullets wounds, Voice of Hope reported.
He called on Western Bahr El Ghazal citizens with surgery cases to come to Wau Teaching Hospital for operation.
Dr Ajiek said they are ready to treat patients who cannot afford expensive operations and that the most complicated cases would be referred to Juba through AMREF support.
Wau Teaching Hospital Senior Medical officer Edmond Sebit revealed that the doctors are expected to conduct operations for a week.
