Yei River County of Central Equatoria State donated four delivery beds to Lasu, Otogo, Mugwo and Tore Payams Primary Health Centres to improve maternal wellbeing.
Commissioner Juma David Augustine said the four Payams Health Centres would help pregnant mothers as they attend to antenatal care in rural areas, Easter Radio reported.
He expressed happiness on the support to the four health facilities through supply of equipments for effective provision of services to citizens.
Mr Juma said the empowerment of the health sector at payam level needs regular supply to save citizens in rural areas who lack access to the main hospital in the town.
The Commissioner urged Primary Health Centres’ personnel to utilize equipments properly to deliver needed services to expectant mothers.
