Yei Catholic Diocese on Wednesday concluded a two-day pastoral agents’ workshop on trauma healing and alcoholism.
Presiding over a closing Eucharist mass Fr Lazarus Mondua Leonardo said the workshop focused on causes, symptoms and ways for healing trauma wounds, Easter Radio reported.
He said priests were traumatized through the situations of the people they serve, urging them to be generous while serving the people of God.
One of the facilitators, Fr Tom Poru Martin, reveals plans to organize more workshops to training citizens, calling on the NGOs support towards the initiative.
One of the participants Joseph Yomue said he would implement the knowledge to citizens by telling them effects of trauma and alcoholism.
