The case of Bakhita Radio is waiting for the signature of the President of the Republic for the station to be opened and News Editor released.
Bakhita Radio Director Albino Tokwaro told CRN on Monday that the security director reported that they sent the apology letter to the President Salva Kiir who would sign it on Tuesday for the editor to be released and the station resume operation.
Mr Tokwaro explained that the security told them that they were unhappy with some writings in Al Maugif Arabic Newspaper and suspected Bakhita Radio was involved.
The Director on Saturday wrote an apology letter to the security office in Juba for broadcasting opposition’s views for the editor to be released and station work.
