World Vision trains 65 people on conflict prevention in Tonj

World Vision on Monday started training chiefs, women groups, youths and religion leaders on conflict prevention and resolution in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
 
World Vision Officer Kasan Uro said the training was to support the community with capacity building, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
He believed after the training, the group would be able train their people on the ground to realize stability.
 
Mr Uro said after the training, chiefs, women group, youths and religion leaders would be able to conduct community dialogue, manage conflicts and tackle properly human rights cases in their villages.
 
Mr Uro also added that after the training people of Tonj South and Tonj East would identify themselves as peace makers.
 
The training is expected to close on Wednesday.
