Eastern Equatoria Legal Administration Office reported disappearance of the State Public Prosecution Attorney John Wani Lodu.
State Legal Administration Assistant Director Dominic Edward Anikpara told Emmanuel Radio that Wani was missing since July 10 and that investigation indicated that he passed through Labalua checkpoint along Torit-Kapoeta road.
Assistant Director noted that Wani told the security that he was going to Ikwoto County.
Mr Edward explained that the legal administration team comprising of Abraham Arop, Hakim Simon and Dominic Edward in its meeting of July 16th resolved to search for Wani, starting with radio announcements.
The Assistant Director said they later received traces of their missing colleague at Loming village where his left the car he used for travelling but his foot marks disappeared at a certain point.
He added that their continued search for John Wani in bushes was unsuccessful.
Mr Edward appreciated state government’s efforts in searching for their colleague, urging citizens to be kind to the missing Legal Prosecutor if they come across him by reporting to concerned authorities including chiefs and police.
The state Public Prosecutor John Wani was neither seen in the office nor at home for the last 12 days.
