WOTAP briefs citizens on transitional government

Women Training Association and Promotion or WOTAP on Friday organized a dialogue to brief citizens on transitional government as part of IGAD mediation process in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
 
WOTAP Director Linda Ferdinand said the dialogue discussed various governance systems to be adopted in the transitional government, Voice of Hope reported.
 
Ms Ferdinand explained that the discussion was also to enlighten the community to play their role in bringing peace to South Sudan.
 
United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Civil Affairs Officer Victor Fesina said they are mandated to protect civilians and assist in reconciliation.
 
Participant, Ann Daniel Ali appreciated WOTAP for conducting the forum which allows people to have a say in the peace process in the country.
 
The dialogue drew participants from women and youth associations and political parties all over the state.
