The Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio is deeply grieving for losing Monsignor Matthew Samusa on Thursday in Sambya Hospital in Kampala Uganda after brief suffering from stroke attack.
Anisa Radio Director Fr Ignatius Mborihenga Zasi said the late Monsignor experienced stroke attack on June 2 for the first time and was airlifted to Kampala for further treatment.
He announced that arrangements are underway to bring his corpse to Yambio from Kampala and to be laid to rest in Tombura County next week.
The Director said late Monsignor Sumusa as one of the elderly priests of Tombura-Yambio Diocese served as Rector of the Seminary until it was taken up by SPLA soldiers along with Seminarians in 1989.
May Our Good Lord rest his Soul in eternal peace and may our mother Mary intercede for him! Amen.
