Apostolic Administrator urges South Sudanese to accept mistakes

Torit Apostolic Administrator in his message to South Sudanese on Tuesday marking the third independence anniversary called on all leaders and citizens to accept mistakes committed in the last three years of freedom.
 
Monsignor Thomas Oliha said urged citizens to reflect on the past and ask God for forgiveness to achieve peace, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
He called for unity, praying that the ongoing negotiations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia bears fruit for permanent peace in the country.
 
Monsignor Oliha asked God to enlighten South Sudanese to use the freedom which he described as ‘a gift of God to humanity’ for the common good of all people.
 
The Apostolic Administrator called for true healing through confession to one another and that self-healing comes before reconciliation to achieve national unity.
