SPLA soldiers killed two civilians on Thursday in Maridi County of Western Equatoria State.
Maridi County Press Secretary Jackson Santo Pia told Anisa Radio that the victims were identified as Biko, a local motorcyclist and Tabule from Yei.
The Press Secretary explained that the shooting resulted from disagreement in a bar with soldiers who ran to the barrack to pick guns.
The secretary said the soldiers targeted three men, but one escaped.
He added that the killers were arrested and detained in Maridi.
Mr Santo disclosed that Maridi County Commissioner formed a taskforce comprising of police, prisons and wildlife officers to contain the security situation.
