Accelerated Learning Program or ALP Facilitator called on the government and development partners to support schools enrolling street children in Yei River County.
Monday Charity Neto told Easter Radio on Wednesday that they in the Network for Education and Empowerment for Sustainable Services Centre handle 71 street children comprising 31 girls and 40 boys.
She said they are lacking funds and accommodation for the children.
Ms Charity lamented that the street children are many in Yei but financial limitations could not allow them render services.
She added that the number of street children in 2009 and 2010 was 300, but reduced to 71 in 2014.
The facilitator attributed the reduction to parents concern, conflict and completion of classes and other courses.
