Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj of Rumbek Catholic Diocese on Sunday said they prepared 152 children for Holy Communion.
Fr John Peter said some 26 young children became altar boys and girls to serve people in the church, Don Bosco Radio reported.
The Parish Priest said the work of missionaries was to make people good and become future leaders who forgive and love one another.
Fr Peter added that they are also preparing couples for Matrimony on December 8.
Rumbek Catholic Diocesan Coordinator Fr John Mathiang while presiding Eucharistic celebration in Thiet Parish said the confirmed children became true Christians to accomplish their journey of life and share Good News with their brothers and sisters.
He called on the congregation to unite and work together with their parish priests, catechists to spread the message of God to all corners of Thiet and beyond.
The Coordinator advised Christians to pray for love, unity and peace countrywide.
