Western Equatoria State Governor on Thursday urged women leaders to prioritise education and peace campaign to gain full rights.
Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro told women that to participate in politics, they should possess high education intellect, Anisa Radio reported.
He said women are peace makers and that educating them would restore peace and stability in the country.
Governor Joseph reiterated Equatoria’s call for federalism, saying it is the best way to end the current and future crisis in South Sudan.
State Gender Minister Foiza Dawa said they held women consultative meeting with the governor on peace process in South Sudan.
