The national government approved 731 thousand South Sudanese Pounds for constructing of Kagelu Primary School.
Yei River County Commissioner Juma David Augustine told Kagelu residents in a meeting on Wednesday that a local vibrant construction company be identified to build the school, Easter Radio reported.
It was not clear when the construction would begin, but that a committee would be constituted to oversee the process.
In March this year residents of Kagelu demonstrated demanding the government to respond to their needs of education, clean water and health facility.
