South Sudanese civil society activist urged stakeholders at the peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to explore demands of the SPLM/A-in opposition to reach a final conclusion.

Beny Gideon told Bakhita Radio on Wednesday that though IGAD postponed the talks, delegations would be called back to act as referees on the claim of the opposition.

He called for more consultation among stakeholders including the government and the opposition to resolve the crisis.

Mr Gideon said the civil society position at the peace talks is that, if the SPLM/A- in opposition wanted to bring in their different stakeholders they should be part of their delegation.

He said they told the IGAD mediating team to decide on demand of the SPLM/A- in opposition.

The chairperson of the Civil Society Alliance Deng Athuai urged citizens in the country to rethinks why did God gave them country.

He said bad things are happening because after the independence citizens forgot God.

IGAD mediators postponed the peace talks to unfixed date in July to allow more consultations.
