The government top officials including the President of the Republic on Friday paid their tribute to Robert Mayuk who passed away last Saturday in Uganda after battling a disease for a month.
A family member, Dominic Malong Agar told Bakhita Radio that the late was referred to Egypt for diagnoses and to Germany for treatment, but died before the visa was out.
He said the late left behind over 30 children.
President Salva Kiir Mayardit said the young children and their mothers need assistance and a lot of prayers for God to put the soul of the late to eternal peace.
Central Equatoria Governor Clement Wani Konga said the late was a respectable officer, describing his death as a great lost to batches 21, 22 and 23.
He prayed that may God rest the soul of the late Mayuk in peace.
The late Robert Mayuk was a director at the council of ministers.
The body of the late was flown for burial to his ancestral home village in Warrap state on Friday.
