Norwegian People’s Aid or NPA said South Sudan would be among 32 teams to participate in the East African Football cup in Moshi, Tanzania.
NPA’s Program Coordinator Boboya James Edmond told Bakhita Radio on Friday that there will be eleven countries participating, with four teams from South Sudan.
He said the teams were selected from Central and Western Equatoria and Lakes States.
Mr James said 52 youth less than 16 years and eight officials are expected to leave Juba for Tanzania on June 22 and return on June 29.
He explained that the reason for organizing the tournament was because NPA needs to see peace and unity among youths in the country.
