Yei Catholic Diocesan priests on Tuesday started their week long annual retreat under the theme: ‘The delight in the love of the Lord and draw others to relish that delight’.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe during the opening mass reflected on the message of Jesus of love to enemies and prayers for those who persecute the church, Easter Radio reported.
He encouraged the priests not to revenge and entertain the feeling of animosity.
The retreat animator Fr Alexander Visuvasa of Missionary of Mary Immaculate called on Christians to pray for all priests and their successful retreat.
The week long retreat at the Diocesan Pastoral Centre Lutaya is expected to conclude on Saturday.
