Yei River County Agriculture Assistant Commissioner urged parents to farm their lands to invest a lot of money for educating their children.
Edmond Taban called on parents to cultivate and keep cattle to substitute payment of volunteer teachers and build some schools with poor structures, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that rearing of cattle and poultry farming was also a best way to earn more money.
Mr Taban told parents to send their children to school with money to support school administrations.
He advised parents to be very consistent in helping their children by working together with school administrations for better prosperity.
Mr Taban said many schools in Yei have poor structure while some parents do want to support for children to get quality education.
