Morobo County Commissioner urged communities to accept land demarcation to allow development activities and ease services delivery.
Speaking on Sunday at the opening of Holy Trinity Parish Moses Simon Soro said for development to take place in the county all land lords, chiefs and citizens should cooperate on demarcation plan, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that demarcation opens ways for water supply to communities, schools and health centres, adding that some companies were ready to bring electricity to the area.
Mr Soro cautioned against sale of lands before demarcation, saying it would bring losses after demarcation.
The Commissioner added that buying land from chiefs without government permit is illegal.
Mr Soro called on Catholic Church to help bring development and peace in the county.
