Central Equatoria State Healing Peace and Reconciliation Committee Chairperson urged political parties, organized forces and churches to foster peace in the country by engaging citizens in reconciliation.
Rev Simon Peter Modi during a walk for peace campaign in Juba on Saturday said political parties should have an agenda for peace rather than disorganizing the country, Bakhita Radio reported.
He advised all organized forces in the country to be non partisan and safeguard the needs of the nation.
Rev Peter called on all churches to be the instrument of peace, reconciliation and forgiveness.
He urged South Sudanese to pray for their leaders to lead the nation safely.
