Yei Diocese would expand to nine parishes with a new one opening in Morobo County of Central Equatoria State on Sunday.
The Religious Superior for Sudan and South Sudan Fr Ferrinton Rayen told Easter Radio that they were invited by Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe to open new centre for Salesians of Don Bosco in Morobo County.
He expressed happiness to be associated with the Yei Catholic Diocese, saying their mission in Juba, Wau, Maridi, Tonj and Rumbek has always been a success.
Fr Rayen added that the diocese has great wealth of catholic tradition that attracts them to exercise evangelization.
He revealed that their objective in Morobo County would be holistic formation, focusing on all aspects of life.
The Father said the formation would focus on education, social, cultural and health sanitation of local people.
The parish is expected to operate fully next year as Salesians Fathers make regularly contacts with new site as early as June 2014.
