Eastern Equatoria Governor on Thursday said he supports formation of interim to stop conflict and save lives, but not considering it a reward to the SPLM/A in opposition for rebelling.
Louis Lobong Lojore observes that if Government of National Unity becomes a reward for armed opposition, everybody will take up arms to get a position, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He supports a government that includes all stakeholders to realize lasting peace in the country.
Governor Lobong told citizens never to misunderstand and associate the call for federalism to SPLM/A in opposition leader Dr. Riak Machar.
He explained that the demand for federal governance originated from Equatorians when he was the Vice President.
Governor Lobong said there is need to enlighten South Sudanese about federal governance and its benefits.
The Governor was reacting to common misunderstanding that federalism originated from Dr Riek Machar.
