Sacred Heart Parish catechists and teachers in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Friday concluded seven-day Gospel preaching training workshop.
Sister Mary Michael said the training was to empower catechists and villages’ teachers to proclaim the Gospel correctly, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Catechist Benjamin Kachuol said before the training they did not know that ‘Jesus works in their daily life, but now now that Jesus drop his saliva on each believer in form of baptism to save them from sins.
He advised young people to take a good example of the blind man who believed in Jesus and his eyes were opened.
The catechist urged the entire community of Tonj South to pray for the poor, peace and unity.
He advised parents and guardians to send their children to school for their better future life.
