Sudan’s Ministry of Welfare and Social Security announced relocating all refugees from South Sudan at Kilo Ten reception site in White Nile State to five alternative sites, as the area is subjected to flooding.

In its latest weekly humanitarian bulletin, OCHA Sudan said there were an estimated 30 thousand South Sudanese at Kilo Ten site, mainly children and women.

An upcoming meeting with the Humanitarian Aid Commission is expected to focus on details and dates of the relocation.

UNHCR already started preparations for logistics and transportation.

More than 80 thousand people fled to Sudan since the crisis started on December 15.
