Yei Deputy Mayor on Sunday revealed to congregation at Christ the King Cathedral that cholera suspected cases reached eight in the town.
Silvano Ali Sanguson said some cases were brought from Kaya in Morobo County, Wuluturu, Kanjoro, Tarawa and Mahad residential areas, Easter Radio reported.
He called on partners and well-wishers to support and provide more emergency vehicles to address the situation.
The Deputy Mayor called on health personnel to intervene as soon as possible to rescue people.
Mr Ali appealed to citizens to maintain hygiene to avoid the spread of the epidemic disease.
