Yei Mayoress urges NGOs to support government fight cholera

Yei Mayoress urged non-governmental organizations to support the government in fighting cholera before it spreads out to the whole town.
 
Cecilia Oba Tito emphasized that awareness have to reach communities in a shorter possible time, calling on the surveillance to form a team to inspect all areas.
 
She advised communities to contribute for their hygiene.
 
Yei Civil Hospital authorities warned that if cholera cases increase in town, there would be no enough wards to accommodate patients.
 
The Hospital administration on Thursday announced cholera outbreak in Yei with one person dead, three others admitted with the first suspected case in Hai Tarawa and the rest in Hai Mahad.
