Manager encourages youths to develop their skills

Youth Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy and Development or LEAD Project Manager encouraged Eastern Equatoria youths to join skills development training in order to earn their living.
 
Abugo Charles Guya on Friday during told a graduation of 133 students in Narus Kapoeta East County after five-month intensive skills development training on tailoring and auto mechanic that the youths need basic employment skills training, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
Mr Charles said the trainees were admitted through community mobilization approach and orientation process to identify talents, attitudes and capability of each student before starting the training.
 
He added that the project would extend its services through agricultural skills to the Budi County youths in June.
 
The graduated trainees are expected to form an association to enable them benefit from start-up money from the lead project.
