An elderly lay man at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday appealed to parents to advise their children to marry in the Catholic Church because its power of is based on Sacraments.
Martin Guya Nyalimo cautioned youths that marriage in the Catholic Church is not a contract, but requires a lot of preparations and maturity in making decision, Easter Radio reported.
Remembering his 29 years of Matrimony, he lamented that it was not find for youths to marry traditionally without Church blessings.
Mr Guya said Yei Catholic Diocese has few priests, asking boys and girls to join the vocation to become priests and religious sisters.
