Yei River County Boda-boda Union on Tuesday visited its member in police custody who knocked dead a woman along Yei-Lasu road on Sunday and discouraged over speeding.

The Union Chief Advisor Hassan Apollo Jackson told Easter Radio that it was the duty and obligation of the Union to see its members in times of troubles at all cost.

He added that the visit aimed at finding out if the rider is a member of the Union or a private cyclist.

Mr Hassan urged the riders to use a speed of 30 kilometers per hour in the town and pray before and after their daily work for divine guidance.

The Chief Advisor expressed sadness and sent condolences to the family of the deceased.
