African Union or AU Chief Negotiator is expected to visit Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan on Tuesday.
Thabo Mbeki will be accompanied by high level delegation and media representatives to witness the situation in the Nuba Mountains, Voice of Peace reported.
The visit comes as Khartoum and the SPLM-N are negotiating cessation of hostilities in South Kordofan and Blue Nile regions.
Nuba Mountains Media Secretary Chatigo Amoja Dalman called on civilians to turn up to welcome Mr Mbeki who will arrive in Kauda on Tuesday.
