Egyptian medical military team arrived Juba on Monday to treat ailing wounded soldiers at Juba Military Hospital.
Egyptian Defense attaché in Juba Colonel Hesham Mohammed Shawky told reporters at Juba International Airport that the team would help wounded SPLA in the hospital.
He added that the move demonstrates cooperation between South Sudan and Egypt following recent courtesy visit of Defence Minister Kuol Manyang Juuk to Cairo.
SPLA Medical Corp Deputy Director Dr James Alphonse said the team would benefit them through provision of surgery and physician services.
He added that the team would operate for fourteen days to rescue lives.
The team comprises of six medical personnel set to save lives in the military hospital.
