Yei Catholic bishop criticized Christians who continuously doubt the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the death, marking the Easter Sunday.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe appealed to Christians to believe through the biblical witnesses including the apostles and women who ventured to see the tomb of the risen Christ, Easter Radio reported.
He said those who still hesitate to believe Christ’s resurrection, demanding evidences are not true Christians.
Bishop Lodu told Christians how the loving Christ went through tortures and crucification for the sake of mankind’s salvation.
The bishop said doubting the resurrection of Christ shows lack of faith.
He urged Christians to be courageous and firm in following Jesus Christ to overcome difficulties in lives.
The bishop called on Christians to overcome difficulties through concentrated prayers.
Bishop Lodu said ‘Christ is the glory of God who manifests and shows God’s glory to each of us’ and that ‘he is the prince of peace.’
