Foreign Affairs Minister on Friday urged all citizens especially youths in troubled Upper Nile region to be at the forefront of peace making because the future belongs to them.

Barnaba Marial Benjamin appealed to IDPs in UNMISS camps in Bor, Malakal, Bentiu and else where to distance themselves from political issues especially the rebellion.

He said the rebellion should be left for the government, opposition and international community leaders to resolve.

Dr Marial denounced incitement of civil population to kill one another in revenge.

Interior Minister Aleu Ayieng Aleu pleaded to the international community including African Union and Intergovernmental Authority on Development to save the country from escalating crisis.

Mr Aleu lamented that the civil population is now entering into a situation of fighting and killing itself in the presence of UN peacekeepers.

The officials made the statements in a press conference in the National Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
