Parliamentarians enlighten Nadiangere citizens on crisis

Members of Parliament in the Crisis Management Committee visited Nadiangere Payam to enlighten citizens on the mid December political unrest that started in Juba and spread to other states.
 
The team comprised of both national and state legislators, SPLM Secretary and the Commissioner of Yambio County headed by George Costa Bamandara, Anisa Radio reported.
 
Mr Costa congratulated the people of Nadiangere for their hard work and loving peace people, urging them to be vigilant and say no to war.
 
He called on citizens to rally behind the President of the Republic and send their children to school.
 
Western Equatoria Legislative Assembly speaker Bage James Elisa encouraged the youth to join the ongoing military training in the country to defend their state, counties and payams.
 
Yambio County Commissioner Kuzee John Elia called for unity to pave a way for peace in the country.
 
Nadiangere Payam Chief Simon Agbiasa Bangazegino cited challenges facing them including lack of drugs in health centres, lack of teachers, telephone network, clean drinking water and police officers in the area.
