Catholic University of South Sudan Vice Chancellor on Saturday told a farewell gathering at Juba campus that it would be a big mistake to compare him with the founding retiring predecessor.
Mathew Pagan described Fr Michael Schultheis as a man of big knowledge and wisdom.
He added that he would never reach the heights of the knowledge Fr Michael attained.
Fr Pagan described the retiring Vice Chancellor as a visionary man that South Sudanese should emulate.
He urged university students and staff to imitate the compassion for education, hard work and commitment of the retiring Vice Chancellor.
Fr Michael Schultheis lamented that the present situation in the country remains very difficult.
He advised the new administration to stick to the Catholic vision of ‘development of intelligence and character’ through training and commitment.
Fr Michael urged learners to transmit good education values through providing practical joy of living.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro described the retiring Vice Chancellor as ‘an adventurous man of God’, South Sudanese should emulate to move forward.
