Warrap State Members of Parliaments or MPs urged Greater Tonj communities to embrace peace and reconciliation in Counties, Payams, Bomas and the whole country.
Elia Emelio Dokugu told Don Bosco Radio that they were proclaiming peace and reconciliation to stop inter-tribal conflicts.
MP Martha Ayuek said the mid December crisis in Juba separated many people yet the issue was political.
She urged communities not to separate people from areas by saying these are Dinka or Nuer because they are brothers and sisters.
MP Peter Marial urged communities to forget the past events and work for peace and reconciliation to develop the country.
He said it was time for peace for the development of roads, agriculture, schools and hospitals.
The officials made the statement on Monday in Tonj South County of Warrap State in an effort to build strong peace in the country.
