The Episcopal Gosene Parish Church on Sunday donated food and non food items to the wounded soldiers at Juba Military Hospital.

PastorJoseph El Haj Abe told CRN that they donated three bags of second hand clothes, five bags of sugar, five bags of rice, five bags of lentils, ten cartons of biscuits, ten cartons of soaps and some quantity of milk.

He called for peace so that soldiers and citizens would no longer lie in beds, but continue to serve the nation.

Rev El Haj advised the wounded who lost their loved ones, properties, or affected psychologically to be contented and depend on the Lord.

He quoted the Bible saying ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but for everything in prayer present your request to God’.

The Pastor consoled the sick not to worry because God has a purpose for them.

Pastor Scopas Taban Lo-Kabang appealed to all Christians, churches and charitable organizations to visit the wounded soldiers who sustained injuries while defending the country.
