Inter-tribal clashes between Akok and Luac-Koth communities left six women including two pregnant ones and two children dead at Ngapagok village in Tonj East County of Warrap State.
Tonj East Commissioner Madhol Chol Thuc told Don Bosco Radio in a telephone interview that two women were killed on Tuesday at night and Wednesday four others and two children were killed at day time.
He said he sent police forces to rescue the situation because the two communities were killing women only and leaving men.
Mr Thuc strongly condemned the incident and urged the two communities to stop killing women.
