The Lord wants all Christians to be ambassadors of truth, peace, love, unity and reconciliation.
This was the message of Fr Ferrington Rayen of the Salesians of Don Bosco during his homily at Christ the King Cathedral of Yei Diocese, Easter Radio reported.
He said ‘the Lord wants to use each of us to become true voice of the church, healing and reconciliation’.
Fr Rayen lamented that some brothers and sisters threatened Christians when the country experiences problems.
He pointed out that the Lord wants Christians to listen to his voice and care for others as Mary the mother of God cared during the wedding at Canaan.
The Salesians of Don Bosco visited Yei to explore opportunities to establish a mission in the diocese and revealed a plan to open a mission in Morobo.
Yei Vicar General Fr Zachariah Angutuwa welcomed the delegation and told the congregation that God hears cries of his people and answers them accordingly.
