SAF aerial attacks damage education facilities in Nuba Mountains

Sudan Armed Forces or SAF on Saturday bombings damaged education facilities in Nuba Mountains.
 
Acting Education Director Ali Abdalla Kitan said two MIG jet fighters dropped 32 bombs in the Secretariat and Kauda Teachers’ Training College, Voice of Peace reported.
 
He added that important files and education assets were damaged.
 
Mr Kitan explained that bombs destroyed three offices, one store and bath room, three cupboards, four office tables, five metallic chairs and two trees in the compound.
 
The Acting Director explained that three classrooms in the College were damaged, including eight doors and 32 windows, eight metallic chairs, three tables and two mattresses burned to ashes.
 
Mr Kitan said Kauda’s football field and market were hit and seven sheep were killed.
 
Acting Director Kitan insisted that the Secretariat would not stop its activities despite SAF imminent threats.
 
He appealed to the international community to immediately intervene to stop continuous aerial attack to protect civil population.
 
Another source said Kauda’s Orphanage Primary School was hit by 16 bombs at the same time.
 
Two MIG jet fighters dropped 48 bombs in Kauda on the same day without human causalities.
