Police Spokesperson Colonel James Monday Enoka confirmed that the deceased committed suicide last night.

He said the body was taken for post-mortem and further investigation so that his relatives get death certificate.

Colonel Monday clarified that when somebody attempts suicide he would be jailed for a period not less than one year because suicide was a crime and not the only way of resolving problems.

He warned that committing suicide was not accepted by the law and in all religious beliefs.
