Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Bishop on Tuesday accompanied Swedish donors to assess education in Yambio.
Bishop Peter Munde revealed a diocesan plan to open a modern secondary school in Yambio, Anisa Radio reported.
He said before the CPA , the diocese used to send students to study in Uganda with funds from partners.
Bishop Munded appealed to the State Education Minister Pia Philip Michael to approve school construction.
One of the visitors, Elizabeth Hillby said Western Equatoria was privileged to have relative peace that needs donors support.
She appreciated the State Education Minister for improving education in Western Equatoria.
The Minister Philip earlier welcomed the donors and cited challenges facing the state including construction of more schools.
He added that the state government was working hard to create conducive environment for donors to invest in the state.
