Tombura-Yambio launches Conditional Cash Transfer Project

Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese on Friday launched a Conditional Cash Transfer Project.
 
The Project Manager Lino Waiwai said the program was to support children whose parents died of HIV AIDS, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He disclosed that they give 200 South Sudanese Pounds to 120 households every month for taking care of 120 children in Yambio County.
 
Participant representatives Mary Michael Baime caring for four kids thanked the Catholic Church for the service delivered to orphans.
 
Another representative Nunu Jackline urged parents or guardians to show special care to orphans whose parents died of HIV AIDS or any disaster.
 
CORAID is funding the Conditional Cash Transfer Project the programme.
