Unknown woman aborted a four-month foetus on Wednesday in the Mother of Mercy Hospital in Nuba Mountains.
One of the nurses Kukani Ibrahim told Voice of Peace that the incident happened at around 9 o’clock AM.
He said the baby was found by a co-patient who went to the toilet to help herself.
Mr Ibrahim advised people to care for their babies because they are precious gift from God.
He cautioned people against some complications when a mother wants to abort a baby.
Mr Ibrahim explained that a woman may develop a stomach pain and when discovered it may cause problems between the husband and a wife.
The nurse advised the Nuba to refrain from abortion because it is a bad practice and a crime.
