Yei Catholic Bishop on Wednesday gave an example of solidarity with the internally displaced persons or IDPs by offering two sacks of sweet potatoes from his garden.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe said he had no money and could not work miracles, but could only offer what he had to IDPs, Easter Radio reported.
He added that if he would work miracles he would stop the fighting in the country and let every citizen returned home.
Bishop Lodu called on residents to show solidarity and be generous to the suffering IDPs.
He encouraged people of Yei to offer any thing they have to IDPs suffering in the country.
Bishop Lodu was speaking on Wednesday while presenting his help to sister Mercy M Benson head of the team collecting food and non food items for assisting IDPs in Yei.
