Tonj South Forestry Director in Warrap State on Friday urged all timber cutters to renew their licenses.
Dominic Mangong said the registration period for a license is one week and late comers would be prevented from cutting bamboos and timbers, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He urged the people burning charcoal, cutting bamboos and short poles to cut old trees.
Mr Mangong warned that the government will confiscate machines of those cutting small tress.
The Director said the state government will arrest people cutting edible fruit trees like Lulu and others.
