Western Equatoria Governor called on South Sudanese to stay calm and maintain the existing peace in the state.
Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro warned that his government would deal with any tribe trying to ignite conflict in Western Equatoria, Anisa Radio reported.
Addressing the public rally in Yambio Freedom Square on Wednesday, Governor Bakosoro threatened that anybody inciting conflict should get out of the state.
He urged the public to continue exercising normal businesses, assuring them that war would not happen in Western Equatoria.
Governor Bakosoro requested church leaders to continue praying for peace throughout the state.
