Security situation improves in Juba

The government succeeded to contain the political situation and security improved in Juba after the coup attempt.
 
Government spokesperson Michael Makuei Lueth said Juba town is stable, displaced people are returning to their houses and businesses returned to normal, Bakhita radio reported.
 
He confirmed that the government arrested ten coup plotters including Oyai Deng jak, Gier Chuang Aluong, Deng Alor Kuol, Kosti Manibe Ngai, Ezekiel Lol Gatkuth, John Luk Jok, Chol Tong Mayai, Majak D’ Agoot, Cirino Hiteng Ofuho and Madut Biar Yel.
 
Mr Makuei said the government is still pursuing Alfred Lado Gore, Pagan Amum, Riek Machar, Taban Deng and Peter Adwok Nyaba.
 
He added that the group would be followed, apprehended and brought to book.
 
The spokesperson urged citizens to return to their houses as the government is in full control of the security.
 
He also appealed to business community to resume trading so that people buy food in the market.
